Founding Product Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a founding product design role at a seed-stage B2B SaaS startup building AI-powered operations software for home-service businesses. You will be the first dedicated designer, shaping the product from the ground up alongside a small, fast-moving team of second-time founders. The work is high-impact: you will directly influence how complex field-service workflows get distilled into beautiful, intuitive interfaces.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own end-to-end product design across a feature-rich platform, from initial concept through shipped product.

- Prototype rapidly using Figma, AI-assisted tools, and code when needed to validate ideas quickly.

- Conduct customer interviews and translate customer needs into clear, elegant UX solutions.

- Simplify dense, multi-feature B2B interfaces into experiences that feel effortless for non-technical end users.

- Collaborate directly with engineering, jumping into React/TypeScript when it accelerates delivery.

- Pitch in wherever design is needed across the business, from marketing assets to product flows.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 3 or more years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped work.

- Hands-on experience at an early-stage startup, ideally on 0-to-1 products.

- Proven ability to design complex, feature-rich B2B products and make them intuitive.

- Technical fluency: comfortable prototyping in Figma, Lovable, Cursor, or Webflow, and able to read or write React/TypeScript.

- Experience running customer interviews and grounding design decisions in real user needs.

- High ownership, low ego, and comfort operating without a product manager or detailed specs.

- A scrappy, fast-moving working style with a track record of building and shipping independently.

- Longer tenures at prior employers (around 18 months or more) are preferred, with a credible explanation for any short stints.

- Background at a company known for strong product and design culture is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: $100,000 to $180,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

Fully remote. Candidates based in Europe are strongly preferred; US East Coast time zone is also welcome.
