We are currently seeking a Financial Analysis Senior Specialist to join our team in Remote, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting, Reporting & Analysis
• Support the financial accounting, reporting and analysis activities for the Managed Services business, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
• Manage and review key cost schedules, including purchase commitments, invoices, prepayments, accruals and expense movements.
• Perform month-end accounting activities, including preparation and review of accruals, prepayments, journals and supporting schedules.
• Support revenue and cost recognition activities by customer and business unit, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment and allocation.
• Prepare and review balance sheet and financial reconciliations, investigate variances and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Perform monthly analysis of revenue, costs, profitability and key financial movements, working with relevant stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Support periodic forecasting, planning and other financial analysis requirements for the Managed Services business.
• Maintain the accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial data used for accounting and management reporting.

Financial Controls & Stakeholder Support
• Prepare supporting documentation for financial controls, SOX requirements and other compliance activities.
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules, supporting documentation and responses to audit queries.
• Work closely with Finance and Managed Services stakeholders to support financial reporting, analysis and business requirements.
• Proactively follow up and resolve outstanding matters impacting financial reporting and month-end deliverables.

Process Improvement & Other Responsibilities
• Identify and support opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes, reporting and controls.
• Participate in finance projects, ad-hoc analysis and cross-functional initiatives as required.
• Take on additional financial accounting, reporting and analytical responsibilities as the role and Managed Services finance support model continues to evolve.

What would make you a good fit for this role?
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, reporting or a shared services environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accruals, prepayments, revenue and cost recognition, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities.
• Experience in financial reporting, variance analysis and preparation of management information.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate financial movements, identify issues and provide meaningful insights.
• Good understanding of financial controls, audit requirements and compliance processes.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfortable working with large volumes of financial data.
• Experience with ERP, financial reporting and/or business intelligence systems would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance and business stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
