Financial Adviser
We’re recruiting for a Financial Adviser to join our team, helping customers make informed financial decisions and achieve their long-term financial goals. This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified financial adviser who is passionate about delivering high-quality advice and positive customer outcomes.
Working in a regulated environment, you'll build trusted relationships with customers, understand their individual needs and provide suitable financial planning recommendations. You'll play a key role in supporting business performance while ensuring the highest standards of conduct, compliance and customer care.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing suitable regulated financial advice based on a thorough understanding of customers’ needs, objectives and circumstances
- Assessing customer information and recommending appropriate financial planning solutions and products
- Delivering advice in line with Consumer Duty requirements, regulatory obligations and internal advice standards
- Building trusted customer relationships and supporting customers throughout their advice journey
- Managing individual performance against quality, activity and productivity objectives
- Maintaining and developing technical, regulatory and industry knowledge through ongoing learning and professional development
- Identifying, managing and escalating risks appropriately, including supporting vulnerable customers where required
- Contributing to a collaborative culture by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and driving continuous improvement
Who we're looking for:
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, retirement planning and associated financial planning solutions
- Good understanding of regulated financial advice and the UK financial services market
- Understanding of Consumer Duty, FCA requirements, vulnerable customer obligations and regulatory expectations
- Ability to analyse customer information and assess customer needs, objectives and circumstances to support suitable recommendations
- Proven experience of delivering regulated financial advice and achieving positive customer outcomes
- Experience of working to quality, risk, compliance and productivity standards
- A track record of acting as a role model for organisational values, behaviours and conduct standards
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and support teams to achieve customer and business objectives
- A commitment to sharing knowledge and best practice to support continuous improvement and a high-performance culture
