Enterprise Account Executive - North America
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Enterprise Account Executive - North America based in Canada.
This role is an opportunity to drive enterprise growth across North America within the financial planning and performance management space. You will own a defined territory of enterprise and upper mid-market accounts and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract signature. Working primarily with CFOs, VPs of Finance, and Heads of FP&A, you will lead complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes involving IT, procurement, security, and legal teams. You will build compelling business cases, run evaluations and proofs of concept, and compete against legacy systems and spreadsheet-driven processes. The role combines strategic account management, consultative selling, and proactive pipeline generation in a remote-first environment.
Accountabilities:
- Own the complete sales cycle for a named portfolio of enterprise and upper mid-market accounts, from initial engagement through signed contracts.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting, industry events, and co-selling with ERP vendors and implementation partners.
- Develop relationships with CFOs, VPs of Finance, Heads of FP&A, and other senior stakeholders while coordinating effectively with IT, procurement, security, and legal teams.
- Lead complex enterprise evaluations, including discovery, business case development, proofs of concept, competitive displacement, and commercial negotiations.
- Position solutions around customer business challenges and demonstrate measurable value through consultative, value-based selling.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, provide disciplined forecasting, and ensure opportunities remain properly qualified and progressing.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Product, and leadership teams to shape opportunities and share customer and market insights that can inform product development.
- Contribute to the development of the enterprise sales motion and playbook as the business continues to scale.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 3 years closing enterprise deals.
- Proven experience selling EPM, FP&A, financial planning, ERP, spend, data, or other software solutions serving the Office of the CFO.
- Track record of closing six-figure ARR deals with typical sales cycles of approximately 3β6 months while consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales involving finance, IT, procurement, security, and other decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to displace incumbent solutions, including legacy systems and spreadsheet-based processes.
- Strong consultative and value-based selling skills, with the ability to build compelling business cases using CFO and finance leadership priorities.
- Highly proactive approach to pipeline generation, with the ability to create opportunities through outbound activity rather than relying primarily on inbound demand.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence presenting and delivering demonstrations to senior buyers.
- Based in North America with the ability to travel to customer meetings and industry events.
- Experience selling through ERP ecosystems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Microsoft Dynamics, or through implementation partners, is a plus.
- Familiarity with finance concepts, including financial models, business drivers, and variances, is beneficial.
- Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message is preferred.
- Experience as an early-stage seller at a scaling company and contributing to the development of an enterprise sales playbook is an advantage.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation with uncapped commission and equity.
- Remote work across North America, with hubs in New York, Toronto, and Barcelona.
- Competitive vacation policy.
- Medical insurance.
- Learning and development budget.
- Access to Meditopia wellbeing platform.
- English and Spanish language courses.
- Direct access to leadership and opportunities to influence the enterprise sales strategy.
- Opportunity to work with enterprise customers and help shape a growing sales organization.
