English Teacher, Tokyo (GrapeSEED)
English Teacher in Chofu, Tokyo
KDM is currently seeking native English speakers for teaching positions using the GrapeSEED program at a kindergarten in the Chofu area.
About KDM
For the past 20 years, KDM has been privileged with the task of teaching the English program at a kindergarten in western Tokyo. Here we teach using the GrapeSEED curriculum, which involves exposing the children to an immersive English environment. We believe that children should see English learning as something to enjoy, rather than just another class.
We currently employ ten teachers and are fortunate enough to teach over 600 students (400+ in the kindergarten and 200+ in our after-school program). All of the children in the after-school program have graduated from our kindergarten English class so each student is familiar with our style of teaching, with the materials, and are comfortable with their friends and classmates.
We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and driven team-players. Additionally, singing and expression are integral elements of the GrapeSEED curriculum and, as such, we encourage prospective applicants to feel confident expressing themselves in song and by sharing some of their personal interests with their classes.
