English Educator & Academic Associate - Fresher (WFH)

About the job:
This role combines live teaching with curriculum development and academic content creation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both working directly with students and contributing behind the scenes. Impeccable spoken and written English is essential. As our students and parents are based in Australia, clear communication, professionalism, and high-level language are non-negotiable.

A. Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach English (Creative writing, reading comprehension, and related skills) to school students in Australia through engaging live online classes.

2. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, assessments, feedback, and other academic resources while contributing to curriculum development.

3. Work closely with the founder to support academic operations, continuously improve teaching quality, and contribute to the long-term growth of the organisation.

B. Working Hours & Nature of the Role:

1. This is a full-time, work-from-home position requiring availability across a full working day, Monday to Friday.

2. Live teaching typically accounts for around 3-3.5 hours per day. The remaining working hours are dedicated to other responsibilities essential to delivering quality education.

2. No concurrent degree or college programme: You are not currently enrolled in or pursuing another degree or college programme, whether regular or online, that needs weekday availability.

3. No intensive competitive-exam preparation: You are not preparing for UPSC or another intensive competitive examination that would significantly compete with the time and focus required for this position.

4. A genuine long-term interest in education: You are looking to build your career in education, rather than treating this as a temporary role before moving on to another planned opportunity.

5. A realistic commitment of at least 1.5-2 years: You are willing to invest in the role and grow with the organisation, provided the working relationship is a good fit. If you already anticipate leaving in the near future for further studies, relocation abroad, another full-time opportunity, or a different career path, this role would not be the right fit.
