What You’ll Be Doing:

Evolent is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Product Management to lead the vision, planning, and execution of cutting-edge healthcare AI solutions. This Director will lead the evolution of Evolent 's Auth Intelligence platform and will lead the identification, collaboration, and development of AI agents focused on improving operational efficiencies, while creating an improved clinician experience and delivering a top-caliber experience for members, providers, and customers.

This Director will play a pivotal role in aligning engineering, data science, clinical, and customer teams around a shared product vision. They will work closely with healthcare payer executives, clinical experts, frontline staff, and internal stakeholders, while actively collaborating with data science teams to ensure AI models are effectively translated into impactful, user-facing product features. The ideal candidate will bring a deep passion for applying data-driven approaches to transform healthcare and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a specific product line, aligning with Evolent Health's overall business objectives.

Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback to identify unmet needs and new opportunities.

Translate complex business requirements and user needs into clear, concise product specifications and user stories.

Lead, coach and guide a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and operations teams throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and post-launch optimization.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.

Present product strategies, roadmaps, and performance updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Act as a subject matter expert for your product area, representing Evolent Health at industry events and client meetings.

Ensure products comply with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards.

Establish product vision and strategic direction for AI-enabled solutions and platforms.

Drive enterprise adoption of GenAI capabilities across product offerings.

Partner with data science leadership to prioritize model investments and scalable AI platform capabilities.

Sponsor strategic AI innovation initiatives, pilots, and proof-of-concepts that support long-term growth.

Define governance, performance, and adoption measures for AI-powered products.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration) or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum 7-10+ years of progressive experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.

Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex software products.

Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
