At MyFitnessPal , we believe good health starts with what you eat. We provide tools, resources and support to enable users to reach their health goals.
MyFitnessPal is evolving into a portfolio of products -- a flagship app at scale plus a set of high-growth bets. Every one of those efforts depends on sharp, fast, trustworthy insight. You will build and lead the analytics practice that powers them: defining the metrics the company runs on, owning the experimentation practice that lets teams learn quickly, and turning complex data into the recommendations that shape product strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role: you set the analytical bar, hold it, and coach the team to meet it.

What youโll be doing:

- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Product Officer and senior product, engineering, and marketing leaders, helping shape product strategy through data-driven decision-making
- Conduct and direct in-depth analysis of product and marketing data to derive actionable insights that inform tactical and strategic decisions
- Define, analyze, and report on key product metrics for the business
- Own the experimentation practice enabling cross-functional teams to run properly designed and instrumented experiments, and advancing the tooling that supports them
- Build and execute a compelling, high-quality insights roadmap with a sense of urgency, balancing the need to dive deep with speed to insight
- Present findings to executives and stakeholders with compelling data narratives that drive data-informed decisions

- Proficient with AI-native and traditional data analysis tools; extensive experience with A/B testing and experimentation platforms
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations, strategic product roadmaps, and feature-level optimizations that drive customer engagement and retention
- Strong bias to action: you identify issues, recommend solutions quickly, and make measurable business impact
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills -- you can tailor your message for an analyst working session or a board slide
- Proven ability to assess data infrastructure, pipelines, and instrumentation, and partner with Data and Engineering teams to improve them
- Experience leading analytics for consumer-facing native iOS and Android apps
