This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing - Performance based in the United States.

This is a high-impact growth leadership role focused on accelerating performance across paid and emerging marketing channels.
You’ll own the strategy and optimization of core channels such as SEM, paid social, and SEO/AEO while identifying new opportunities for profitable growth.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, requiring you to move comfortably between long-term planning and campaign-level analysis.
You’ll build measurement frameworks, test new channels, and use data to determine where investment should scale.
You’ll also help transform marketing operations into an AI-first organization by identifying workflows that can be automated or significantly accelerated.
Working cross-functionally with product, analytics, data science, and compliance teams, you’ll build scalable growth capabilities in a regulated environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a data-driven builder who thrives on ambiguity, experimentation, rapid change, and measurable business impact.

Accountabilities
-

Own performance across core growth channels, including SEM, paid social, and SEO/AEO, by evaluating current performance and establishing a strategy to accelerate results.

-

Lead the expansion into new high-ROI channels such as programmatic, OTT, out-of-home, and streaming audio, prioritizing opportunities, designing tests, and determining when channels are ready to scale.

-

Partner with analytics and attribution teams to develop measurement frameworks that support data-backed investment and scaling decisions.

-

Develop the paid acquisition strategy for personal loans as the business expands toward a multi-product lending model, including budget allocation, channel mix, and testing priorities.

-

Transform team workflows into an AI-first marketing operation by identifying opportunities for AI to automate, accelerate, or improve critical processes and driving adoption early.

-

Define the optimal mix of full-time employees, contractors, agencies, and AI capabilities to maximize marketing impact.

-

Lead and develop a team of Growth Marketing Managers while remaining hands-on with campaign development, experimentation, performance analysis, and optimization.

-

Establish a culture of continuous testing and rapidly evaluate emerging channels and acquisition opportunities.

-

Use advanced measurement approaches such as incrementality testing, geo holdouts, marketing mix modeling, and multi-touch attribution to improve decision-making.

-

Partner with product, data science, advanced analytics, compliance, and other stakeholders to gain alignment and execute growth initiatives.

-

Navigate regulatory requirements by ensuring new channels, targeting strategies, and personalization initiatives meet compliance standards before launch.

Requirements

-

Significant experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, paid acquisition, or a closely related discipline, with a track record of delivering measurable growth.

-

Experience leading teams while remaining comfortable with hands-on campaign execution, analysis, and optimization.

-

Strong expertise across performance channels such as SEM, paid social, SEO/AEO, and preferably experience expanding into emerging or alternative channels.

-

Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to combine quantitative evidence with sound judgment and experimentation when data is incomplete.

-

Strong SQL skills and the ability to independently investigate performance data and develop insights without relying entirely on analysts.

-

Experience developing measurement frameworks and applying advanced methodologies such as incrementality testing, geo holdouts, MMM, or MTA.

-

Proven ability to build strategies and operating models from the ground up rather than simply managing an established marketing engine.

-

Excellent cross-functional leadership skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and teams outside your direct reporting structure.

-

Ability to move between strategic planning and detailed campaign analysis, maintaining both a long-term growth perspective and strong executional discipline.

-

Experience working in a fast-moving, ambiguous, high-growth environment.

-

Strong interest in AI and demonstrated ability to identify practical opportunities for AI to transform marketing workflows.

-

Experience in fintech, lending, or another regulated B2C environment is strongly preferred.

-

Experience at a high-growth startup or growth-stage company is a plus.

-

Comfortable working within regulated environments where compliance requirements influence marketing strategy, experimentation, and speed to market.

Benefits

-

Base salary range of $186,000–$232,000 USD , depending on qualifications, experience, location, internal compensation considerations, and budget.

-

Annual performance-based bonus eligibility.
