Assume responsibility for the oversight and execution of critical safety operations activities
 As Director Drug Safety Operations, you will report directly to the VP Global Drug Safety and become a key member of the Global Drug Safety leadership team. You will lead a team of seven experienced Drug Safety Associates and be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing a high-performing organization, and ensuring that global safety operations activities are delivered with the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Beyond leading the day-to-day operations, you will develop and inspire your team while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory authorities. You will ensure that safety operations remain compliant with global regulations, inspection-ready, and continuously evolving to meet future business needs.

Experienced Safety Professional with proven leadership experience
 You hold a relevant degree within life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, or a related discipline and bring solid experience from drug safety/pharmacovigilance. It is a clear advantage having direct experience in Safety Operations. You may already be leading a Drug Safety Operations function or team, or you may currently be working as a Drug Safety Specialist or in a similar operational role, complemented by previous people leadership experience. Regardless of your current title, you have demonstrated the ability to motivate others, drive performance, and create a collaborative, high-performing environment.

You possess proven leadership/management capabilities, paired with a strong understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations, ICH guidelines, along with advanced knowledge of global safety reporting requirements. Furthermore, it is crucial that you possess excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to communicate effectively at all levels paired with the natural ability and authority to engage and motivate people. Lastly, you are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

You are a collaborative and influential leader who possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills and thrive in a position where you constantly are striving for excellence.
