The team supports Copper s business as it operates in a complex and evolving regulatory landscape, translating regulatory requirements into practical policies, procedures, governance processes and internal controls while enabling responsible growth in the digital assets sector. Role Purpose:  The Compliance Officer Switzerland s primary role is to serve as Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (Deputy MLRO) for Copper Markets Switzerland, supporting the MLRO Switzerland in the discharge of their AML oversight responsibilities, as well as the local team, while contributing to the wider global compliance programme of Copper Technologies (UK) Limited. The role supports the maintenance and further development of an effective, risk-based compliance framework, with a particular focus on AML, KYC, sanctions, regulatory reporting and compliance controls. Responsibilities:   Serve as deputy to the MLRO Switzerland, supporting day-to-day AML oversight and assuming relevant responsibilities during their absence to ensure continuity of compliance oversight. Act as a key local compliance contact for the Swiss business, providing practical guidance on AML, sanctions, regulatory reporting, governance and risk management matters, and ensuring that local regulatory obligations are implemented effectively in day-to-day operations. Support engagement and communication with the Money Laundering Reporting Office Switzerland (MROS), including the preparation, filing and follow-up of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and other required regulatory submissions. Lead the end-to-end coordination of external audits and support the implementation of corrective action plans in response to audit outcomes, internally identified issues, and internal compliance reviews and monitoring activities. Ensure that material risks and issues are appropriately escalated to the Head of Compliance Switzerland in a timely and structured manner. Contribute to the development, refinement and enhancement of compliance strategies, policies, procedures and controls at both local and global levels, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and best practices.
