Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Agile Delivery Leader to oversee and optimize the performance of cross-functional engineering teams. This role is responsible for driving efficient, continuous software delivery through Agile methodologies, DevOps best practices, and disciplined SDLC execution. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with hands-on software development expertise to improve estimation accuracy, increase engineering productivity, and identify opportunities to reengineer team structures and processes to enhance delivery effectiveness and reduce operating costs. This individual will leverage data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement, communicate progress and outcomes through executive-level presentations and reports, and partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that align with organizational objectives.

The Delivery / DevOps Agile Lead partners with departments list engineering, product, and business stakeholders to improve delivery flow, strengthen release execution, reduce non-value-add work, and support predictable delivery outcomes in cloud and DevOps environments.
Responsibilities

- Facilitates core Agile ceremonies (sprints, standups, retrospectives) while removing technical and organizational blockers

- Partners with DevOps and engineering leadership to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release cycles

- Tracks and improves team delivery metrics (velocity, lead time, deployment frequency, MTTR)

- Monitors and adjusts team structures, Agile practices, and delivery operating models when needed to reduce scrum-related cost, improve efficiency, and strengthen accountability

- Applies hands-on development and SDLC knowledge to review delivery estimates, identify coding-level inefficiencies, and help teams improve technical execution

- Partners with internal departments and stakeholders to align backlog priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery expectations

- Improves workflow transparency through effective use of Agile tools, reporting, dashboards, and team information radiators

- Leads continuous improvement efforts that reduce waste, improve cycle time, increase deployment reliability, and support predictable delivery outcomes

- Supports release planning, dependency management, delivery readiness, and incident learning activities across assigned teams

- Prepares PowerPoint presentations, status reports, delivery summaries, and leadership updates that clearly communicate progress, risks, decisions, metrics, and recommendations

- Promotes Agile, DevOps, and SDLC best practices while helping teams maintain a practical, outcome-focused approach to software delivery

- Uses approved AI tools appropriately to improve delivery planning, reporting, workflow analysis, and team efficiency while protecting confidential, proprietary, and regulated information

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Advanced knowledge of Agile delivery practices, including Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning and execution, backlog refinement, estimation techniques, retrospectives, and continuous improvement methodologies

Advanced knowledge of DevOps, cloud-based delivery environments, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release management, deployment practices, site reliability principles, and operational support processes

Advanced proficiency in software development, coding practices, system design, and software engineering principles, with the ability to actively contribute to development efforts, review code, validate estimates, and resolve technical delivery challenges

Expert knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements management, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, quality assurance, and technical delivery governance
