Data Product Engineering
The Data Product Engineer owns the lifecycle of data products built on thelakehouseplatform. Acting as the bridge between business consumers and technical teams, this role drives the definition, prioritization, and delivery of trusted, well-documented data products that enable analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▸ Defineand own the data product roadmap aligned to business priorities and OKRs
▸ Workwith business stakeholders toidentify, capture, and prioritize data product requirements
▸ Developdata product specifications, including schemas, SLAs, access controls, and documentation
▸ Collaboratewith data engineers to ensuretimelyand quality delivery of data products
▸ Establishand track KPIs for data product usage, quality, and business value delivered
▸ Managethe data product catalog and metadata to enable discoverability and self-service
▸ Leaddata product sprint planning, backlog grooming, capacity management, and release management
▸ Serveas the primary point of contact for data consumers across business domains
▸ Driveadoption of the data product framework and advocate for data-as-a-product culture
▸ Coordinatewith governance, infosec, and compliance teams to ensure product-level policies are enforced
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
▸ 7+ years ina productmanagement, data management, or analytics role
▸ 3+ years managing data products in a modern datalakehouseor data warehouse environment
▸ Strongunderstanding of data modeling, data lineage, and metadata management
▸ Experiencewith Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle tools (Jira, Confluence)
▸ Familiaritywith BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and SQLproficiency
▸ Excellentstakeholder management and communication skills
▸ Bachelor'sdegree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
▸ ExperiencewithDataHub, Apache Atlas, or Alation for data cataloging
▸ Knowledgeof data mesh and domain-oriented data ownership models
▸ Certifications: CDMP, PMP, or Agile Product Owner

The base salary range for this position in is $140K-$160K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
