Role: Credentialing Specialist

Location: Remote

Industry: Healthcare Staffing

Compensation: $550 base pay + commission ($15 for every fully credentialed healthcare professional)

Shift: 9am - 6pm EST; Wednesday to Sunday (Monday & Tuesday OFF)

About the Role

We are seeking a Credentialing Specialist with a strong sales mindset to join our healthcare staffing team. This role goes beyond traditional credentialing, you will actively engage, motivate commitment from, and guide healthcare professionals to complete and submit their credentials so their profiles are fully prepared for job submission.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively contact healthcare professionals (nurses, allied health, and other clinicians) to obtain required credentialing documents

Use sales techniques and consultative communication to explain the value of credentialing and motivate candidates to complete their profiles

Overcome objections and hesitation by clearly communicating how credentialing leads to job opportunities and faster placement

Build rapport and trust with candidates to ensure long-term engagement

Follow up consistently via phone, email , and text until credentialing is complete

Ensure all credentials meet compliance and client requirements

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems

Collaborate with recruiters to prioritize high-demand candidates and urgent submissions

Required Qualifications:

Strong sales or customer-facing background (inside sales, account management, recruiting, or similar roles)

Proven ability to gain buy-in, influence, and close

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and follow-ups

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple candidates and deadlines simultaneously

Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in healthcare staffing, credentialing, recruiting, or compliance

Familiarity with healthcare credentials (licenses, certifications, immunizations, background checks, etc.)

CRM or ATS experience
