Many parents want to lead meaningful family devotions—but feel overwhelmed, underprepared, or unsure where to begin. They are looking for resources that are theologically rich and realistic for busy homes. We are seeking contract writers who can help meet those needs. If you are passionate about equipping families for faithful, everyday discipleship, we invite you to submit a complete proposal. Scope of Work: - Create biblically faithful themes, structures, and concepts for family devotionals - Research, outline, and write a full devotional manuscript (length varies by project) - Integrate Scripture, devotional teaching, discussion prompts, and practical application - Write in a way that serves a broad range of ages while maintaining theological clarity - Collaborate with the editorial team throughout development and revisions - Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co. ’s doctrinal commitments Commitment: Contract, per-project basis Compensation: Determined per project Additional Information: Contractors are engaged based on the needs of specific projects and are not guaranteed ongoing or full-time work. One-Paragraph Summary Provide a concise overview of the book’s purpose, scope, structure, and tone. 4. Target Audience Description (One of the Most Important Sections)Who this book is specifically for - Their stage or season of life - The particular struggles, questions, or longings they are experiencing - Why this book matters to them now - Tip: Specificity is essential. Broad descriptions such as “Christian women” or “believers” are not sufficient. 5. Comparable Titles (2–3 from the Past 5 Years) Identify 2–3 comparable books published within the last five years and explain: - How your book overlaps with each one - How it is meaningfully distinct in approach, audience, tone, or theological emphasis 6. Author Bio Explain what uniquely qualifies you to write this book, including: - Education - Ministry, counseling, academic, or professional experience - Subject-matter expertise - Lived experience relevant to the topic (if appropriate) - Previous publishing or writing experience 7. Devotional Outline Provide a working title, Scripture reference, and main point for each devotional entry. It should be clear how each entry supports the controlling idea and relates to the target audience. 8.
