Content Operations Executive Assistant
Content Operations Executive Assistant — Part-Time | Remote (Philippines) | $5.75/hr
We're The Photo Mentorship (TPM) — an online photography education company with ~2,000 active
members, 57 courses, and a brand built around one of the most recognizable names in photography
education.
We're a small, fast-moving team where everyone carries real responsibility. We're looking for a Content
Operations Executive Assistant to help run the operational engine behind everything we publish and every
Live we produce.
This is not a task-list role.
You'll work directly with our Head of Content — someone hands-on, direct, and fast-moving who wants a
real thinking partner, not just a pair of hands.
Priorities shift. Ideas evolve. You won't always receive a perfectly finished set of instructions. Sometimes
you'll get a direction and need to help build the structure around it. The person who thrives in this role
brings organization, follow-through, and good judgment to a fast-moving environment.
What you'll own:
- Coordinate instructor availability and build the monthly Live teaching schedule for approval
- Schedule every Live across Restream, Facebook , and our internal calendar, keeping all platforms in
sync
- Manage day-of Live logistics, including pre-Live posts, audience prompts, winner tracking, and real-
time support
- Download, back up, and publish Live recordings to the website after each session
- Monitor our private Facebook Group daily — approve posts, catch unanswered member questions,
and identify strong student photos and testimonials
- Send design requests to our Brand Designer with clear, complete briefs and track them through
delivery
- Proofread and spot-check content before it goes live
- Learn to upload and manage new content directly on our website
- Handle ad-hoc research and administrative support as needed
Who you are:
- You're comfortable working with some ambiguity. You don't need every detail handed to you before you can
begin, and you're comfortable asking smart questions when something isn't clear.
- You check your own work, notice inconsistencies, and speak up when something seems wrong. You can
keep several open threads moving without losing track of them.
- You also genuinely enjoy working with people. You'll interact with mentors, members, designers, and your
manager, so we're looking for someone who builds real rapport rather than simply completing transactions.
Most importantly, you take ownership. You don't think, "That's not my job." If you notice something broken,
missing, or likely to cause a problem, you flag it and help move it toward a solution.
You must have rock-solid, reliable internet and a backup plan such as a mobile hotspot or backup power.
This role supports live events in real time, so reliability matters.
What we're NOT looking for:
Someone who needs perfectly finished instructions before taking action. Someone who prefers to work
entirely heads-down and doesn't want to collaborate or think through problems with their manager.
Someone who treats their job description as a strict boundary instead of a starting point.
We're looking for someone who notices problems, communicates early, and helps solve them.
The details:
Part-time: 20 hours/week
Potential to grow into a full-time role for the right person
North American time-zone overlap preferred
Pay: $5.75/hour
Reports to: Head of Content
Start date: ASAP
To apply:
Send me a short note with why our job posting jumps out to you, anything excite you? But more
importantly: pineapple on pizza — acceptable, criminal, or misunderstood?
Also tell us honestly about your internet reliability and what backup plan you have if your internet or power
goes down
This role requires you to be in the Philippines. If that means relocating or flying in, it is worth checking fares before you commit to a start date.
