David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a fast-growing AI technology company serving millions of users worldwide that is seeking to onboard a Content Moderator to join their expanding Trust & Safety team. The role involves daily review of sexually explicit content and adult themes, so candidates must be fully comfortable working with this material.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and approve or reject user-generated content, including images, videos and text, in line with platform policies

Identify inappropriate, prohibited or potentially harmful material

Apply moderation guidelines consistently, including when handling ambiguous or borderline content

Document moderation decisions accurately and escalate complex cases

Investigate content flagged by automated detection systems

Review internal AI-generated content, AI characters, datasets and workflows for safety and compliance

-
Categorise and tag content to maintain appropriate platform visibility

Maintain high accuracy, consistency and productivity across substantial moderation volumes

Collaborate with senior moderators and the Legal & Safety team to improve workflows and enforcement standards

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous hands-on experience moderating user-generated content for an online platform

Strong understanding of content moderation guidelines, policy enforcement and escalation procedures

Experience working with high-volume moderation queues

Excellent English comprehension, including slang, context, nuance and intent

Proven ability to make sound, independent decisions on complex or borderline content

Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and consistency

Clear documentation and communication skills

Complete comfort with daily exposure to explicit adult content
