Join an award-winning and talented organization that delivers world-class healthcare workforce solutions. Working within a vibrant and passionate team of recruitment and sales professionals you will bring your energy and enthusiasm to help grow the firm by assisting in all clinical operations, remediation, and coaching/counseling for our healthcare providers working at different facilities and our internal staff.

About the Role:

Most marketing job posts say "seeking a creative self-starter" and then describe a job where someone hands you a brief every Monday. This is not that job. Cynet — an award-winning US healthcare and technology staffing group, ranked #17 among travel nurse staffing firms in the US by Staffing Industry Analysts — is hiring a senior marketer in Costa Rica who can look at a search query and know what the searcher actually wants, look at a dull post and find the angle that makes it travel, and look at a "great idea" and know when it would quietly hurt the brand.

Location: Costa Rica (100% Remote) · Type: 1099 Independent Contract, Full-time · Travel: 4–8 US trips/year, fully paid by Cynet · Equipment: You must own your own laptop and have reliable internet

What will you be doing day to day?
- Own content, end to end. You'll create and manage content across four distinct brands — travel nursing, locum physicians, enterprise/government technology, and Canadian healthcare — each with its own audience and its own voice. Four rooms, four registers, one writer. That means social posts, website content and landing pages, and a hand in drafting company news and announcements. You'll research what's worth saying before writing a word: real data, verified stories, primary sources. We cite reports by name on our pages, and a number without a source doesn't ship here.
- Run social like an editor, not a scheduler. You'll own the LinkedIn calendars — what runs, when, and why. Every post needs a point someone could disagree with. "Healthcare workers are amazing" is not a point. "ER wait times are not an ER problem" is.

If the difference between those two sentences is obvious to you, keep reading.
- Hunt for what's worth sharing. We expect you to actively source quality content from beyond our own walls — verified positive news, human stories, humor that lands with clinicians and professionals, polls, and whatever else earns genuine engagement. The feel-good story a local news station ran yesterday, the stat that sounds wrong until you read it twice, the joke only a night-shift nurse fully gets — finding that material is a core weekly discipline here, not a nice-to-have. One rule travels with it: we verify everything to its original source before it ships. The fun is real, and so are the facts.
- Be the brand in the room, not just on the page. Publishing is half of social; presence is the other half.

You'll engage as Cynet — joining industry conversations, commenting, reacting, and tagging where it's genuinely relevant, and creating and managing our LinkedIn newsletters. A page that only talks about itself is a billboard. You'll make ours a participant.
- Keep our reputation tended. Once a week — genuinely about 20 minutes — you'll respond to public reviews under our written privacy guidelines. In healthcare, a careless reply can expose protected information, so this small task carries real judgment. You'll be trained on the rules; following them is non-negotiable.
- Get on planes. Cynet shows up at conferences and tradeshows across the US, and marketing goes along — running our presence, feeding content home from the floor, and working alongside the sales and delivery teams who need you there. Expect 4–8 trips a year, all travel costs on us.

Your Experience and Skills:
- Unrestricted, self-managed United States entry. You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, OR you hold a current valid U.S. visa that you maintain yourself. Cynet does not sponsor or arrange entry documentation, and U.S. travel is a written condition of the contract. We ask about this in the first conversation — please be ready to answer plainly.
- Native-level conversational English writing. Not "proficient." Your English should read like it was never translated from anything.
- 5+ years in content marketing or editorial roles. A portfolio of self-created work is strongly preferred — and if you share one, be ready to tell us exactly which parts were yours.
- A track record of judgment. Healthcare marketing lives next to privacy law, and staffing marketing lives next to people's livelihoods.

You instinctively know which drafts need a second look before the world sees them.
- Your own equipment. This is a contract engagement — you bring a reliable laptop and home internet that can carry video calls and content work.

What makes you great at this:

You read a query like "travel nurse pay breakdown" and immediately know whether that person wants a calculator, a definition, or reassurance — and what content wins them. You see a competitor's post get 400 comments and reverse-engineer why. You treat SEO, social, and email as one craft — getting the right words in front of the right person — not three departments. Editorial or newsroom experience is a genuine plus; so is anything that proves you can find the story in a spreadsheet.
What you get:

Competitive senior-level compensation (this role is scoped and paid above our specialist band) · fully remote from Costa Rica with U.S. travel on us. A marketing function small enough that your work is visible from the CEO's chair, and growing fast enough that this seat shapes what the team becomes. Four brands' worth of creative range — you will never be bored by the ICU-to-federal-buyer whiplash. We promise.
How to apply:

Two things are required: your resume, and one thing most applicants won't do — pick any post from the Cynet Health LinkedIn page and, in three sentences or fewer, tell us the angle you'd have given it instead. Applications without that answer won't be reviewed; it's the first thing we read, before your resume. A portfolio of work you personally created is optional but strongly encouraged — it's the fastest way to stand out.
