About The Role:At PayIt , the Adoption Marketing team is an in-house marketing agency serving PayIt ’s clients in state and local government. We help our
clients promote the digital government services offered on our platform to consumers. As a Consumer Marketing Intern on the Adoption
Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients as they focus on promoting digital services to their residents. You’ll work on
just about every aspect of the campaigns we create, execute, and analyze for our clients.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital advertising, email marketing, content creation, and
performance marketing while working in a dynamic, innovative environment. We will train you on many of the systems and tools we use
every day in our marketing organization, giving you essential experience you will use in future jobs. You will work with campaign managers,
designers, writers, and other members of our team every day, getting exposure to a broad range of marketing roles.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Email Marketing : Handle the entire email campaign process, including setup, content creation, proofreading, and scheduling, aiming
to maximize engagement and effectiveness.

Social Media: Create copy and visual elements for our clients’ social campaigns.

Creative: Use basic design skills for file manipulation and adaptation of base designs to meet campaign needs, including signage,
print handouts, digital ads, and more. (You don’t need to be a designer yourself; you’ll be working with our creative team!)

Reporting: Create internal and client-facing outcome reports from various data sources.

Analysis: Examine marketing data to identify trends, assess campaign effectiveness, and propose actionable insights for
optimization.

Quality Assurance: Perform thorough quality assessments on all marketing materials to uphold brand integrity.

Project Coordination: Assist with project management tasks to ensure on-time delivery of campaign assets.
What You’ll Need to Have:
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related discipline.
- An eye for visual design, plus some experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools to modify and
manage creative assets.
- Skilled in spreadsheet applications (Google Sheets) for basic data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail in proofreading.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
