About Go Travel Community

Go Travel Community is not a booking site.

We are not a traditional travel agency.

We are building a belief-led hospitality ecosystem rooted in:

• Intentional travel

• Meaningful community

• Elevated experiences

• Human connection

• Impact-driven exploration

Our brand exists at the intersection of hospitality, storytelling, and emotional resonance.

We are launching a Virgin Voyages travel content series and are seeking a skilled Video Editor to transform captured footage into a cohesive, emotionally intelligent long-form episode and supporting social content.

This is not influencer-style “look at me” content.

This is not loud luxury.

This is refined, emotionally grounded hospitality storytelling.

Our tone:

80% emotion

20% intellect

Calm confidence

Elevated but inclusive

Story-driven, never salesy

The content should make viewers feel:

Present

Inspired

Expanded

Curious

Part of something bigger

Role Overview

This is a post-production focused role.

All footage will be professionally captured and provided.

You will collaborate closely with a founder-led brand to shape narrative, pacing, tone, and emotional arc.

We are looking for someone who understands cinematic storytelling — not just technical cutting.

This is a flexible, project-based opportunity with potential for ongoing collaboration as the series expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit one long-form episode (approximately 30–45 minutes)

• Shape strong emotional and narrative structure from provided footage

• Create multiple vertical short-form edits (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)

• Apply intentional pacing and music selection

• Perform clean, polished color grading

• Integrate immersive but subtle sound design

• Collaborate creatively while remaining efficient and organized

• Deliver structured final files and project assets

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong cinematic storytelling sensibility

• Advanced proficiency in professional editing software

• Experience editing long-form content (30+ minutes)

• Ability to balance luxury aesthetics with authenticity

• Understanding of hospitality, lifestyle, or travel branding

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work within defined scope and timelines

Preferred Experience

• Travel or hospitality editing experience

• Documentary-style pacing

• Experience creating both long-form and short-form content from the same footage

• Familiarity with YouTube storytelling structure

• Understanding of emotionally intelligent brand positioning

Deliverables Expectations (Per Episode)

• One long-form episode (30–45 minutes)

• 3–6 vertical short-form cuts

• Clean audio balance and music integration

• Light color correction and polish

• Organized project file delivery

Final scope and number of short-form edits will be aligned prior to project start to ensure clarity and creative focus.

Tone & Creative Alignment

Your editing should prioritize:

• Presence over hype

• Atmosphere over spectacle

• Emotion over ego

• Story over sales

We are not documenting luxury for display.

We are capturing hospitality as a lived, shared experience.

What Success Looks Like

• Viewers feel transported, not marketed to

• The brand feels cohesive and elevated

• The storytelling feels intentional and emotionally resonant

• The founder feels creatively supported

• The audience feels like they belong

Compensation

$12 – $15 per hour

(approximately ?670 – ?850 per hour, depending on exchange rate)

Estimated per episode range: $500 – $700 USD

Compensation is based on experience, efficiency, and portfolio strength.

Opportunity for ongoing collaboration as we continue building our long-form travel series.

If your editing style is thoughtful, refined, and emotionally aware — we would love to see your work.

Please apply with:

• Portfolio or reel

• One example of long-form storytelling

• Examples of short-form edits

• A brief note describing your approach to hospitality or travel storytelling

Thank You!
