What does a day in the life of a Casting Specialist took like?
Verification Analysis

Maintain the safety and security of client content by reviewing and analyzing user-generated postings and verification details to ensure the legitimacy of both users and job listings.

Use independent discretion to determine when additional information or verification is required, and communicate with job posters to collect and analyze relevant details.

Apply independent judgment to identify and eliminate scams, potentially dangerous content, and inappropriate postings, escalating to senior staff when necessary.

Make decisions regarding a user's legitimacy based on background check results, IDs, independent research, investigations, and other verification materials.

Monitor and review system-generated alerts related to client/job-poster activities (such as changes to previously approved listings or messaging limits) and determine appropriate actions.

Investigate scam complaints and reports of inappropriate behavior, making executive decisions on whether clients should be removed from the platform.
Content Management

Review and enhance user-generated content by copy-editing and optimizing job posts to align with key business objectives.

Manage ticket-queue pipelines for incoming job posts, prioritizing based on importance and timeliness while optimizing and editing content for publication.

Utilize expert knowledge to engage and support employers throughout their casting process.

Independently source missing information and enter additional job details provided by employers and third parties into the system for publication.

Educate and assist clients as a product expert, addressing questions about the marketplace’s job-posting and application-management tools.

Communicate with clients regarding customer service issues that require specialized casting knowledge.

Provide guidance and insights to clients on posting jobs and answering questions related to casting tools.

Train clients on casting tools and troubleshoot any issues they encounter, ensuring a seamless and positive casting experience.
Additional Tasks

Collaborate with other departments (customer service, account management, business development) to support cross-functional needs, enhance customer experiences, identify new leads, and provide account support.

Research projects and triage escalated tickets from customer service related to job listings.

Examine job database reports to identify previously approved or held jobs that may need attention, recategorization, or early expiration to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.

Assist team members with training, troubleshooting, and escalated cases.

Perform other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
