This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Case Management Associate based in the United States.

This is a fully remote opportunity supporting clients throughout the life insurance underwriting process, from initial application through policy placement. You will manage an individual caseload and coordinate requirements across clients, insurance carriers, vendors, and internal teams. The role combines detailed case administration with proactive problem-solving and customer support. You will become proficient in carrier workflows, underwriting processes, and the technology platforms needed to move applications forward efficiently. You will also review underwriting decisions and identify opportunities that may lead to better outcomes for customers. Success in this role requires organization, precision, strong communication, and a genuine commitment to delivering a seamless client experience.

Accountabilities:
- Own and manage an individual caseload of in-process life insurance applications, from creating and sending applications to clients through underwriting and final placement.

- Request, track, and obtain required underwriting documentation and information from clients, ensuring cases progress efficiently and within expected timelines.

- Review underwriting decisions and proactively identify situations where alternative options may provide a better outcome for customers.

- Develop strong knowledge of carrier-specific workflows, application requirements, underwriting processes, and software systems necessary to manage cases effectively.

- Maintain accurate, timely, and well-organized case information while prioritizing workloads to ensure applications are processed, issued, and placed efficiently.

- Communicate consistently and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear updates and addressing questions or issues throughout the process.

- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Customer Success, Quality Assurance, and other operational teams to improve processes and deliver a seamless customer experience.

- Provide and receive actionable feedback, contributing to operational efficiency, service quality, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

- At least 1 year of professional experience in life insurance case management or a closely related insurance operations role.

- Willingness to obtain a life insurance license as required for the role.

- Strong customer-centered mindset with a demonstrated ability to solve problems for clients and internal teams.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening abilities, and exceptional attention to detail.

- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of individual responsibilities while contributing to team success.

- Comfortable providing and receiving constructive, actionable feedback focused on improving efficiency and customer experience.

- Positive, collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.

- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

- Life insurance agent or broker license is a plus.
