CAD Technician II
What this Job Entails:
The CAD Technician II will be responsible for supporting a global organization of mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers, construction professionals, project managers and site operations experts who plan, build, and Data Center Program Managers.
Scope:

Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
- Works on problems of moderate scope

Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects
Your Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist the team with drawing updates as required.
- Test CAD applications.
-
Perform CAD length calculations and quality checks.
-
Perform quality checks on current and future tools.
-
Collaborate with various teams to deploy components.
-
Assist in developing procedures for future client IT deployments.

Develop data center, network or lab cable tray designs.
-
Support and backup team Project Managers.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Understanding of complex spreadsheets.

Ability to work with a geographically diverse team.

Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.

Excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills.

Understanding of at least two of the following: server hardware and software, network hardware and software, data center infrastructure and operations, mechanical and electrical systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of data center environments.
Physical Demand & Work Environment:

Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing

- Must be able to use a computer
