Overview

Cotiviti is a leading healthcare analytics solutions company seeking an experienced BI Developer III to join our analytics and business intelligence team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions that leverage deep healthcare datasets to drive insight into healthcare system performance. You will translate complex stakeholder requirements into technical implementations while working with cross-functional teams using Safe Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality business intelligence solutions that reshape the economics of healthcare. This is a fully remote position offering flexibility to work from anywhere.
Responsibilities

- Design and develop enterprise data warehouse solutions using data warehouse methodologies, including dimensional modeling, slowing changing dimensions, and fact table optimizations for healthcare analytics.

- Create and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to integrate healthcare and financial data from multiple sources while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

- Develop analytical visualizations and dashboards using the Microsoft Power Suite, including Power BI and paginated reports, that provide actionable healthcare insights to support clinical and financial decision-making.

- Translate healthcare stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and acceptance criteria, working closely with clinical, financial, and operational teams to understand domain-specific needs.

- Manage multiple concurrent healthcare analytics projects and technical initiatives while maintaining code quality and documentation standards.

- Participate in Safe Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and healthcare analytics deliverables.

- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with team members using version control systems and established check-in processes.

- Maintain and optimize existing healthcare data warehouse solutions, ensuring data quality, security, HIPAA compliance, and performance.

- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members on healthcare data warehouse best practices, analytics methodologies, and tools.

- Stay current with emerging healthcare data warehouse, business intelligence, and healthcare analytics trends and technologies.

- Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.

- Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics or equivalent professional experience.

- Advanced expertise in data warehouse methodologies, including schema design, dimensional modeling, and data integration patterns applied to healthcare analytics.

- 5+ years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server for database design, development, and optimization.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

- Proficiency with the Microsoft Power Suite of tools, including Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot.

- Strong background in healthcare data analysis and analytics, with understanding of healthcare business models, clinical workflows, and healthcare payer/provider operations.
