JOB DESCRIPTION:

Shop Marketing Pros is seeking a detail-oriented Blog Posting Assistant to temporarily support our SEO team. This is a short-term, full-time remote position focused on helping our SEO Specialists with the execution of blog publishing across our clients’ websites. Work hours are from Mon-Fri, 8 am to 4 pm U.S. Central Time.

The primary responsibility of this role is to take completed blog content provided by the SEO team and accurately upload, format, and publish it on client websites. This is an entry-level, execution-focused role and does not require advanced SEO knowledge or content writing experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in WordPress and Duda, follows instructions carefully, and can consistently complete repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Is familiar with posting and formatting blog content in WordPress and Duda

Is comfortable navigating basic WordPress and Duda features and editors

Demonstrates strong attention to detail and can identify formatting or publishing errors

Can accurately follow step-by-step instructions, SOPs, and checklists

Is comfortable formatting headings, paragraphs, lists, links, and images

Is organized and able to work efficiently across multiple client websites

Is dependable and able to complete assigned work accurately and on schedule

Is comfortable performing repetitive, process-driven tasks while maintaining consistent quality

Not Required, but helpful:

Previous experience posting blogs or other website content

Basic understanding of SEO and on-page SEO concepts such as internal/external linking

Experience working with website content workflows or task management systems

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Upload completed blog content provided by the SEO team to client WordPress and Duda websites.

Properly format headings, paragraphs, lists, links, images, and other blog elements according to provided instructions and standards.

Complete required blog settings and publishing steps based on established SOPs and checklists.

Review each blog before publishing to identify and correct formatting issues, broken or incorrect links, missing images, and other publishing errors.

Work across multiple client WordPress and Duda websites while ensuring content is posted to the correct website and location.

Follow established SEO team processes, SOPs, naming conventions, and checklists to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Take on routine blog-posting tasks to help SEO Specialists focus on higher-level SEO responsibilities.

Keep assigned blog-posting tasks organized and complete work according to established deadlines and priorities.

Assist the SEO team with other related content-publishing tasks as needed.
