Billing Specialist

Accountabilities
- Prepare and process customer invoices, credits, debits, and other account transactions while maintaining accurate customer records.

- Proactively communicate with relevant internal departments regarding problematic accounts, billing discrepancies, and outstanding issues.

- Collaborate with the Collections Department to investigate and resolve customer billing concerns efficiently.

- Respond promptly and professionally to information requests from customers and employees, ensuring clear communication and effective issue resolution.

- Prepare financial information and supporting documentation required for month-end and quarter-end closing activities.

- Perform account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and help maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

- Manage a high volume of transactions efficiently while following established procedures and maintaining consistent quality standards.

Requirements

- Education in accounting, finance, or a related field.

- Previous experience in accounts receivable, finance, billing, or a similar role.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to process transactions efficiently while maintaining data integrity.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify appropriate solutions.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.

- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with finance, collections, and other cross-functional teams.
