We're looking for an Automation Developer to help design, build and support innovative solutions that reduce manual effort, improve colleague experiences, and enable smarter decision-making across the business. You'll join a growing Intelligent Automation function where innovation, continuous learning and practical problem-solving are actively encouraged. What You'll Be Doing

- Design, develop and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate

- Build scalable, secure and reliable automations that streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency

- Support the development of AI-enabled solutions using emerging technologies and services

- Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects and Delivery teams to translate requirements into practical technical solutions

- Analyse, estimate and assess automation opportunities, validating technical feasibility and delivery approaches

- Develop integrations with enterprise systems, APIs, cloud services and data platforms

- Create reusable components, workflows and low-code assets that can be leveraged across multiple business areas

- Ensure solutions are built with appropriate monitoring, error handling, logging and operational support considerations

- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing and development standards within the team

- Support testing activities, deployment processes, UAT and HyperCare phases

- Maintain source control, deployment pipelines and development environments using DevOps best practices

- Evaluate emerging automation, cloud and AI technologies and identify opportunities to drive further business value

- Support and enhance existing automation services through structured change management processes

What You'll Bring

- Experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate

- Experience working with Dataverse, APIs, integrations, databases and enterprise data services

- Understanding of software design principles and building maintainable, scalable solutions

- Knowledge of technologies such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, SQL or similar

- Experience working with Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), deployment pipelines and source control

- Understanding of agile delivery approaches such as Scrum or Kanban

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
