Analyst – Client Reporting and Analytics

Position Summary

Amplity is seeking an Analyst – Client Reporting and Analytics to design, build, and support client-facing reporting and analytics solutions for life sciences clients. This role will translate complex commercial, clinical, operational, and customer data into clear dashboards, reports, and insights that support client decision-making and strengthen Amplity’s reporting capabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Build, test, and maintain scalable dashboards, embedded analytics, and client-facing reporting packages using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.

- Create standard and reusable analytics and reporting solutions that can be leveraged across multiple client engagements.

- Partner with customer success, product, engineering, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate client needs into reporting solutions.

- Define reporting requirements, key metrics, data needs, and documentation to support accurate dashboard development and enhancement planning.

- Work with data engineers to support client-ready data models, schema layers, transformations, and reporting performance.

- Analyze trends, validate metrics, identify insights, and provide reporting recommendations to support business and operational decisions.

- Validate data, reconcile reporting discrepancies, and ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

- Maintain data mapping for internal and external data sets.

- Support governance, privacy, and quality standards for external-facing reports in a life sciences environment.

- Partner with the Reporting and Analytics Manager on AI-enabled reporting, predictive analytics, executive dashboards, and self-service analytics solutions.

- Deliver dashboard demonstrations, user training, reporting documentation, user guides, and FAQs for clients and internal stakeholders.

- Respond to reporting questions from clients and internal teams and identify opportunities to improve usability, automation, and dashboard performance.

Education and Experience

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in reporting and analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis, 5 or more a plus.

- Developing dashboards and reports in Power BI; Tableau or Looker experience is a plus.

- Writing SQL queries and working with relational data.

- Supporting business stakeholders with reporting requirements.

- Experience with life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, clinical, or operational data preferred

- CRM data, including Veeva or Salesforce, preferred.

- Microsoft Fabric or AI-assisted analytics preferred.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of business intelligence, data analytics, dashboard development, and reporting.

- Advanced Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and SQL skills.

- Understanding of data modeling, data marts, data warehousing, and data transformation concepts.

- Ability to translate complex data into clear reporting, insights, and client-ready visuals.

- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and client service skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong presentation, training, documentation, and user enablement skills.

- Eastern and Central time zone residents preferred
