JOB TITLE: AI Agent Developer & Automation Specialist

ABOUT US

We operate a growing College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving franchise in Richmond, Virginia. We receive a high volume of customer leads through our proprietary web-based system, Hunkware, and are looking for an experienced AI automation specialist to help us respond faster, improve follow-up, and streamline our operations.

THE ROLE

We are looking for someone who can design, build, and maintain practical AI agents that connect with our existing business systems.

Our first priority is creating an AI-powered lead-response system that can:

* Monitor new leads entering Hunkware

* Send personalized text-message responses quickly

* Ask customers qualifying questions

* Collect job details, photos, addresses, and preferred dates

* Follow up automatically when customers stop responding

* Help move qualified leads toward an estimate or appointment

* Notify our team when human assistance is needed

* Record conversations and update customer information

* Avoid duplicate, inaccurate, or inappropriate messages

Depending on Hunkware’s available integrations, this may require API connections, webhooks, browser automation, or another secure solution.

Additional projects may include:

* Automated estimate follow-up

* Missed-call text-back systems

* Customer review requests

* Appointment reminders

* Internal reporting and dashboards

* Recruiting and employee onboarding workflows

* Connecting AI with email , SMS, calendars, forms, and other business tools

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with experience in several of the following:

* Building AI agents using OpenAI, Claude or similar platforms

* API integrations and webhooks

* ---------- , Zapier, n8n, or similar automation platforms

* Twilio or other SMS systems

* CRM and lead-management automations

* Secure browser automation for systems without public APIs

* Prompt engineering and conversational workflow design

* JavaScript, Python, or another relevant programming language

* Error handling, testing, logging, and documentation

* Protecting customer information and login credentials

EMPLOYMENT STRUCTURE
