ROLE OF THE 211 EOK OUTREACH COORDINATOR

This position represents 211 Eastern Oklahoma, a free service connecting individuals across

37 counties in Eastern Oklahoma to vital community resources via phone, live chat, text,

or online search. The role has two key functions: growing awareness for 211 EOK

and helping to find resources to add to the database in the assigned area. The position

requires building collaborative relationships with stakeholders, United Ways, and Information

and Referral programs while supporting outreach and community activities. This position

requires extensive local travel across the assigned counties.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Outreach, Awareness and Education

- Identify and cultivate new relationships with community groups, corporations and nonprofits to educate about 211 EOK.

- Create and implement strategies to initiate contacts and build relationships.

- Attend meetings and deliver presentations to inform partners and clients of agency value and build partnerships.

- Coordinate ongoing outreach and training to top service providers and key community groups.

- Document all interactions in software platforms to support follow-up and program planning

Resource Gathering

- Analyze service gaps and identify new partners or opportunities for collaboration

- Communicate with Database Curator Team to ensure that resource partner information is current, accurate and complete.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience

- High School diploma or GED required (preference for advanced skill sets, equivalent experience, or 211-specific certification)

- Prior experience in program outreach or similar position preferred

- Knowledge of database systems and experience with data gathering, categorizing, and analysis preferred

- Direct Services and/or Information and referral experience preferred

- Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and customer service

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel)

- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

- Day-to-day work will be conducted primarily remote with occasional office or team meetings conducted in-person. The ability to work remotely requires trust and confidence from the Leadership Team. You must have proven abilities to work independently with little to no guidance from management.

- Extensive local travel required (milage will be reimbursed at the current IRS rate)
