XTN-13EC841 | SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER (PYTHON).

This role is responsible for designing, building, and scaling the backend systems and APIs that power GRG Health's AI-driven healthcare and life sciences platforms. The Senior Backend Engineer owns end-to-end backend architecture, ensures reliability and performance at scale, and mentors engineers across the team.

- Architect, build, and scale backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI

- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL data models across PostgreSQL and MongoDB

- Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs for data-intensive and AI-driven services

- Implement authentication, authorization, caching, and performance best practices

- Ensure reliability, scalability, observability, and high availability of production systems

- Lead code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and mentor junior engineers

- Collaborate with frontend, AI, data, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments on AWS

.• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience with Python

- Strong expertise in FastAPI and REST API design

- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including schema design and performance tuning

- Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and cloud-native deployments

- Experience with caching, message queues, and asynchronous processing

- Familiarity with AI-driven or data-intensive production platforms

- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
