Time Doctor | Remote โ€” North America | Reports to the CEO

Time Doctor is hiring a VP of Marketing to own the pipeline and revenue funnels that fuel growth across a hybrid product-led and sales-led business: a profitable, global SaaS company with an established customer base (10k+ customers), two working revenue motions (PLG + Sales-Led), a next-generation AI product headed to market โ€” and a mandate to build marketing as an AI-first function from the ground up. You'll report to the CEO, work closely with the CRO and growth team, and lead a lean team built for speed and leverage, not headcount.
Who we are

Time Doctor is a workforce analytics platform that provides distributed teams the visibility they need to improve trust and performance. We serve remote, hybrid, and outsourced/shared services organizations worldwide, especially in BPO, healthcare, and tech services. We're bootstrapped, profitable, and fully remote, with about 125 people across 30+ countries. We've built a durable business on customer revenue, not venture capital. Now we're scaling it.
The role

You'll lead all of marketing โ€” demand generation, content, brand, product, customer and partner marketing โ€” as one integrated function with one job: both revenue funnels full, always. Two things make this seat different from most VP Marketing roles:

The motion. Time Doctor runs a true hybrid model: a self-serve funnel where users sign up, try, and buy on their own, and a sales-led funnel where marketing feeds and accelerates the sales team. You'll own both funnels and the handoffs between them, informed by real product usage and GTM data โ€” across multiple major markets globally.

The operating model. This is a building role. You'll design an AI-first marketing organization โ€” building and orchestrating agents yourself, embedding them in daily operations, and scaling a lean team that does the same. You'll operate as a player/coach: setting strategy with the CEO and CRO, then executing alongside your team.
Who you are

-
You wake up thinking about pipeline โ€” new ways to solve hard marketing problems that drive revenue.

-
Entrepreneurial and growth-obsessed: you're here to build a business, not run a department.

-
You see revenue leaders as partners, not internal customers โ€” working toward a shared company goal is what excites you.

-
You move fast and take smart chances: experiment, learn, and fail fast โ€” you'd rather try and miss than sit still.

-
Today's marketing landscape energizes you, it doesn't scare you. You "nerd out" on the newest tools, tech, and best practices โ€” and you're first to try them.

-
You hold yourself to a simple standard: sales is fed and the funnel is full. Always.

-
You've been coached, you seek out coaches, and you look for every edge you can get.

-
You're competitive, hungry, and motivated by the work you do โ€” you wake up excited to build every day.

What you'll own

-
The number. You own filling both revenue funnels โ€” New Business & Expansion pipeline for the sales team, and high-quality PQLs (engaged, ICP-fit trials) for the self-serve funnel, with direct accountability for cost of acquisition.

-
Two funnels, one strategy. One integrated go-to-market across two motions. You decide how budget, channels, and messaging split between self-serve and sales-led to fill both funnels with quality revenue. Growth converts PQLs into activations; the CRO owns revenue. Your job: neither funnel is ever the reason we miss.

-
Global positioning. How Time Doctor is positioned and differentiated across multiple major markets and ICP segments, in a competitive, trust-sensitive category.

-
Brand and content. A content engine that drives organic growth, SEO/GEO and feeds every other marketing function.

-
Product marketing. Positioning, launches, and sales enablement โ€” including bringing our next-generation product to market in partnership with Product.

-
Customer marketing. Expansion campaigns, lifecycle programs, advocac
