Virtual Assistant – Canva Workbook Design, Social Media & Video Editing

About the Role We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented virtual assistant to support our creative and social media work. This is an ongoing part-time role, not a one-off project — we're hoping to build a long-term working relationship with someone who takes initiative and communicates well. What You'll Be Doing * Workbook formatting & editing in Canva: Creating design templates, Cleaning up layouts, fixing formatting inconsistencies, updating text/images, and making workbooks look polished and on-brand. * Social media content creation: Designing and scheduling posts (Instagram, Facebook , and/or other platforms) using Canva templates and brand guidelines we provide. * Video editing for social media: Editing short-form video content (reels, TikToks, or similar) — trimming clips, adding captions/text overlays, basic transitions, and music syncing. What We're Looking For * Solid working knowledge of Canva (templates, brand kits, resizing for different platforms) * Experience creating or formatting manuals, workbooks, or similar multi-page documents in Canva (please share a sample when applying), including: * Building and customizing reusable design templates * Consistent multi-page layout (headers, spacing, and styles that stay uniform across many pages) * Table of contents, page numbering, and section dividers * Typography and visual hierarchy (headings, body text, callout boxes, numbered steps) that make instructions easy to scan * Working within a brand kit (locking in colors, fonts, and logo placement) * Proofreading and attention to detail for text and formatting errors * An eye for clean, consistent design and attention to detail * Comfortable following a style guide/brand guidelines * Experience editing video for social media (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Rush, or similar — tell us what you use) * Good written English communication and responsiveness * Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines * Prior experience as a VA or in social media support is a plus, but not required if your portfolio is strong How to Apply Please include: 1.
