SMHQ JOB DESCRIPTION: VIDEO EDITOR =================================== ABOUT SMHQ =================================== SMHQ runs two connected UK property websites. SMHQ Network ( ---------- ) is a licence and franchise business aimed at property investors who want to find motivated sellers, with 58 people currently in the franchise network. ---------- is our main lead generation website, where we find motivated sellers directly, generating over 4,000 motivated seller leads in the last year. =================================== ROLE SUMMARY =================================== We're looking for a video editor to take our raw footage and turn it into polished finished videos, along with short-form clips for social media and eye-catching thumbnails. As with all our roles, we're looking for someone with a good attitude and a genuine growth mindset, who wants to learn and grow. We want people who will stay with us long term and become loyal, trusted team members. =================================== MUST-HAVE SKILLS =================================== - Strong video editing skills, cutting raw footage into polished finished videos - Creating short-form clips for social media from longer footage - Thumbnail design that grabs attention =================================== NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS =================================== - Motion graphics or animation skills - Colour grading experience - Understanding of what performs well on different platforms =================================== APPLICATION EVIDENCE REQUIRED =================================== Applicants should provide a portfolio or examples of previous video editing work, including any short-form clips or thumbnails they've created. =================================== HOURS AND PAY =================================== 20 to 40 hours per week. Pay negotiable based on experience. =================================== PROCESS =================================== 1.
