Underground Electrician

Role Overview

As an Underground Electrician at Agnico Eagle , you will be part of the Energy and Infrastructure Department, ensuring the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle ’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
What You Will Do

Complete work in accordance with standards, operating procedures and safety practices; conduct preventative maintenance programs on electrical equipment and record results and findings; test equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
Why It Might Be a Fit

Red Seal certified electrician, electrical journeyman or equivalent; 5 years of experience as an underground electrician; clear understanding of lockouts and high voltage switching; good work ethic, a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team; experience working in a multicultural environment.
Requirements

- Red Seal certified electrician, electrical journeyman or equivalent

- 5 years of experience as an underground electrician

- Clear understanding of lockouts and high voltage switching

- Driver’s license Class 5 or equivalent
