UI and Bug Tester at Nomad Internet

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities: 1. UI Testing: Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces to ensure they are intuitive, responsive, and adhere to design specifications. Includes testing on various devices and browsers. 2. Bug Identification: Proactively identify, document, and report bugs and glitches in website or software applications. 3. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to understand the requirements and functionalities of the applications. 4. Feedback and Reports: Provide detailed feedback and compile reports on UI experience and bug findings to help improve application quality. 5. Regression Testing: Conduct regression tests after fixes and updates to ensure previous functionalities remain intact. 6. User Experience Enhancement: Suggest improvements to enhance user experience based on testing outcomes. 7. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Requirements: 1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2. Experience: Proven experience in UI testing and bug tracking (specify years of experience required). 3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing tools and software like Selenium, JIRA, or similar. 4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. 5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 6. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and formulate solutions. 7. Team Player: Must be able to collaborate effectively with other team members. 8. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and software environments.
