ProSidian Seeks a Transportation Safety Policy Analysis [Key Personnel | Program Manager - Exempt 874-1 Consultant] located: The United States to provide Transportation Sector related Other Solutions for National Survey of Attitudes and Beliefs on Driving, Drinking, and Drug Use on behalf of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). These services are considered part of The ProSidian Transport & Logistics Sector Group with overall focus being Transport & Logistics (TLT) Sector Group: Solutions To Move Transport & Logistics Strategy Forward. for clients such as National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

This project presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a research effort that aligns with our mission to create a meaningful impact. As a Policy Analyst, you will analyze survey data to assess the implications of driver attitudes and behaviors on impaired driving laws and policies. The insights you uncover will help shape recommendations that impact road safety regulations and practices. We are seeking a talented Policy Analyst to play a crucial role in a comprehensive survey project aimed at enhancing road safety and influencing policy decisions.
JOB OVERVIEW

As a Policy Analyst, you will be at the forefront of policy analysis and recommendation development. Your role will be pivotal in influencing decisions that promote road safety and contribute to the reduction of impaired driving incidents.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Analyze survey data to assess the impact of driver attitudes and behaviors on impaired driving laws and policies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop policy recommendations based on research findings.

- Conduct thorough reviews of data, identifying trends, patterns, and potential policy implications.

- Prepare reports and presentations that effectively communicate policy insights to stakeholders.

- Engage with external partners and regulatory bodies to advocate for evidence-based policy changes.

- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in policy analysis.

Desired Qualifications For Policy Analysis ( ) | Key Personnel | Program Manager - Exempt 874-1 Consultant Candidates:

- A bachelor's or master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and assess complex data sets.

- Proficiency in policy analysis methodologies, with a solid understanding of regulatory and legislative processes.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate policy insights to diverse audiences.

- Previous experience in policy analysis, preferably in the transportation or public health sectors.

- Knowledge of impaired driving laws and regulations is a plus.

- A commitment to upholding ethical standards in policy analysis and decision-making.
