Role Overview
About the Role
We’re looking for a Trainer Specialist to design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for Stakeholder and Land Management Software customers, partners, and internal stakeholders across the APAC region.
You’ll be the face of product training and enablement in the region — delivering live and virtual sessions, creating self-serve learning content, and working cross-functionally to ensure training keeps pace with product releases.
This role requires someone who is comfortable working across multiple countries, time zones, and languages, with a passion for making complex software easy to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Training
- Lead live, in-person, and virtual onboarding and product training sessions for new and existing customers, partners, and resellers across APAC markets.
- Deliver engaging, practical training tailored to different audiences, including end users, administrators, partners, and resellers.
- Support customers throughout their learning journey to help drive product confidence, adoption, and successful outcomes.
Develop Learning Content
- Work closely with Product, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams to develop effective training materials.
- Create and maintain a range of learning resources, including user guides, videos, e-learning modules, quick-reference guides, and other self-serve content.
- Tailor learning materials to different audiences, roles, and levels of product knowledge.
Localize and Adapt Training
- Adapt training content and delivery approaches to reflect cultural, regional, and language differences across APAC markets.
- Ensure training is relevant and accessible to customers and partners across markets, including Australia and New Zealand.
Support Product Launches
- Partner with Product and Product Marketing teams to develop training plans for new features and product releases.
- Create and deliver training content ahead of product launches and go-live dates.
- Ensure customers, partners, and internal teams are prepared to confidently adopt new functionality.
Measure Training Effectiveness
- Track and report on training effectiveness using metrics such as certification completion rates, customer feedback, support ticket trends, and product adoption.
- Use insights and feedback to continuously improve training programs, content, and delivery methods.
Collaborate on the LMS
- Work with the Enablement team to maintain and update courses within the learning management system (LMS).
- Ensure training content remains accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with product changes.
Enable Internal Teams
- Train Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams on new features, product updates, and best practices.
- Equip internal teams with the knowledge and resources they need to confidently support and educate customers.
Gather and Feedback
- Act as a voice of the customer by identifying recurring training challenges, knowledge gaps, and content needs.
- insights and feedback with Product, Enablement, and other relevant teams to help improve the overall customer experience.
Scale Train-the-Trainer Programs
- Where applicable, develop and deliver train-the-trainer programs for partners and resellers.
- Certify partner and reseller trainers to independently deliver Stakeholder and Land Management Software training in their local markets.
Engagement Type and Compensation
This role will be engaged on an independent contractor basis , with a base fee of AUD [91,000] , exclusive of superannuation and other employee entitlements.
As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own income tax, GST, and any other applicable statutory obligations. Whether the agreed fee is GST-inclusive or GST-exclusive will be confirmed based on your GST registration status.
How You'll Work
As an independent contractor, you will have autonomy over how and when the work is delivered, provided that the agreed scope
