Apply on original site โWe are hiring experienced Technical Website Project Manager with a strong full-stack web development background and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. This is a mid- to senior-level technical leadership role, not a coordinator or general VA position. You must be able to understand website architecture, development workflows, technical issues, and developer estimates - not simply assign and follow up on tasks.
You will take ownership of website projects, manage developers and other resources, identify technical risks and blockers, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is proactive, technically knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced agency environment.

- Manage resources including, not limited to, developers, designers, and QAs
- Translate requirements into clear technical tasks, timelines, and deliverables
- Review developer estimates, progress, and technical solutions
- Identify and resolve technical issues, risks, blockers, and scope concerns
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and team accountability
- Manage and oversee launches, migrations, hosting, DNS, SSL, and deployments
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of website development and/or technical website project management experience
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong hands-on full-stack web development background
- Strong WordPress and WooCommerce development experience
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, APIs, Git, hosting, and deployment
- Ability to understand code, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with developers
- Experience managing multiple website projects and remote development teams
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools
- Available full-time during U.S. Pacific Time hours
Preferred
- Experience working with international agencies or development teams (U.S., Australia, or other global markets)
- Previous experience as a Full-Stack Developer, Senior Developer, Technical Lead, or Development Team Lead
- Node.js and modern JavaScript framework experience
- Custom WordPress theme/plugin and WooCommerce development experience
- Git/GitHub, server, hosting, migration, and deployment experience
Who You Are
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and proactively with clients and team members
- Technically strong and comfortable communicating directly with developers
- Able to challenge questionable estimates or technical solutions
- Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
- Proactive and comfortable making decisions
- A problem solver, not just a task manager
- Calm under pressure and interested in a long-term role
