Technical Support Specialist – HVAC Systems

We are a fast-paced, family-owned HVAC and plumbing company looking for an experienced HVAC Technical Support Specialist to serve as the master troubleshooter for our field team. Primary Responsibilities: -Field Technician Support: Serve as the primary technical advisor via phone/radio, walking field technicians through complex electrical, mechanical, and airflow diagnostics step-by-step. -System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, identify root causes, and determine clear solutions for Split Systems, Pancake Units, Package Units, and Water Source Heat Pumps (WSHP). -Workflow & Ticket Oversight: Review diagnostic job notes, ensure correct parts are identified for repairs, and update job records in our CRM. -Quality & Guidance: Help uphold company installation and service standards by coaching technicians on proper testing procedures and best practices. Skills & Qualifications: -Extensive HVAC Knowledge: Mastery of split, pancake, package, and water source heat pump equipment is strictly required. -Advanced English Proficiency: Excellent verbal communication to explain complex diagnostic processes clearly and concisely. -Proactive Problem-Solver: Takes initiative, remains patient under pressure, and quickly evaluates field conditions to keep jobs moving. -Computer Savvy: Comfortable navigating CRM software and manufacturer technical specification portals. -Punctual, highly reliable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
