TAKEOFF SPECIALIST

NOW HIRING: Takeoff Specialist Location: Philippines – Remote Projects: U.S.-Based Residential Construction Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Pacific Time (PST/PDT) We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator / Takeoff Specialist to join our team and support residential construction projects throughout the United States. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and wood stick-frame / light-frame construction, with experience preparing accurate material and quantity takeoffs. Key Responsibilities • Prepare detailed material and quantity takeoffs from architectural and structural construction drawings. • Review plans, specifications, details, and schedules to determine project requirements. • Perform takeoffs for various construction scopes, including: o Wood framing o Lumber and sheathing o Concrete and foundations o Roofing o Siding and exterior finishes o Doors and windows o Drywall and insulation o Interior finishes o Other residential construction materials • Review architectural and structural plans for completeness and identify discrepancies or missing information. • Organize takeoff quantities and project information using Smartsheet. • Use Bluebeam Revu for plan review, measurements, markups, and quantity takeoffs. • Review and navigate Revit models and drawings as needed. • Coordinate with our U.S.-based design and construction team regarding project requirements and takeoff clarifications. • Maintain accurate and organized estimating records for each project. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. • Minimum 2 years of experience estimating or performing takeoffs for construction projects. • Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications. • Experience with U.S. residential construction is highly preferred. • Experience working with wood stick framing / light-frame construction is preferred. • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and terminology. • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on takeoff accuracy. Software Requirements Candidates must be proficient in: • Bluebeam Revu • Revit • Smartsheet Experience with additional estimating or construction management software is a plus.
