ProSidian Seeks a Transportation Safety Statistician () [Key Personnel | Program Manager - Exempt 874-1 Consultant] located: The United States to provide Transportation Sector related Other Solutions for National Survey of Attitudes and Beliefs on Driving, Drinking, and Drug Use on behalf of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). These services are considered part of The ProSidian Transport & Logistics Sector Group with overall focus being Transport & Logistics (TLT) Sector Group: Solutions To Move Transport & Logistics Strategy Forward. for clients such as National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Statistical Analyst to lead the development and implementation of statistical methodologies for a groundbreaking survey project focused on understanding drivers' attitudes and behaviors concerning alcohol and non-alcohol drug use. The Statistical Analyst will play a pivotal role in designing data collection strategies, analyzing and interpreting complex project data, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of statistical outputs.

The Statistical Analyst develops and oversees the statistical approach to the project in a range of activities including determining data collection methodologies and tools (e.g., databases), and organizing, cleaning, analyzing and interpreting project data. The Statistical Analyst collates and interprets project data and statistics into understandable formats that enable users to make informed decisions from it. The Statistical Analyst describes the methodological foundations and limitations of the study. The Statistical Analyst develops sampling plans, weighting schemes, nonresponse adjustments, and prepares imputation for missing values.

As part of a collaborative venture with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), we are seeking a seasoned and adept team member to work on a comprehensive survey project aimed at enhancing road safety and reducing the risks associated with impaired driving. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Develop and oversee the statistical methodologies for the comprehensive survey project in accordance with the project's objectives and guidelines.

- Collaborate with the project team to design effective data collection methodologies, tools, and sampling plans to ensure diversity by race, ethnicity, age, and socioeconomic status.

- Organize, clean, analyze, and interpret survey data using advanced statistical techniques and software.

- Apply robust weighting procedures to ensure representative results and conduct non-response bias analysis to validate findings.

- Collaborate with the Data Entry Assistant to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

- Prepare clear and concise statistical summaries and reports, explaining the methodological foundations and limitations of the study.

Desired Qualifications For Statistical Analyst | Key Personnel | Program Manager - Exempt 874-1 Consultant Candidates:

- Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.

- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and strong analytical skills.

- Experience in survey research, data analysis, and applying weighting techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Education/Experience Requirements:

- Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.

- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in statistical analysis and survey research.
