About the role:
In this role, you'll build and maintain the self-service developer portal and developer-facing tooling that make our client’s platform golden paths easy to find and use. Embedded within the Developer Experience team, you'll work in direct proximity to the team's UX researcher and content specialist, translating research-backed interaction patterns and onboarding flows into working, instrumented software within the same sprint cadence as the research that defines what developers need.

Location
This role can work remotely from anywhere in the USA. You must be legally authorized to work in the US. Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $135,000 – $138,000. In the spirit of transparency, most offers tend to land near the midpoint of the range. We make compensation decisions thoughtfully, considering your experience, the skills you bring, and our commitment to internal equity. Fairness and transparency are core to how we operate.
Responsibilities:

Build and maintain the self-service developer portal and developer-facing tooling for a federal agency’s platform.

Design and automate cross-platform workflows spanning source control, CI/CD, issue tracking, observability, and collaboration tools to reduce manual developer toil.

Build reusable automation patterns (APIs, bots, webhooks, event-driven services, IaC, internal tooling) that standardize engineering workflows.

Integrate identity, access management, provisioning, and compliance controls across SaaS platforms to enable secure self-service.
