About Manta Health

Manta Health is building the AI-native platform for healthcare revenue cycle management.

We’re a fast-moving startup rethinking how healthcare data moves and works together — built on modern cloud and AI infrastructure.
The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineering Contractor to join our core product team.

You’ll build features end-to-end across our stack — from scalable APIs to clean, modern UIs — and collaborate closely with our founders, data engineers, and design partners.
What You’ll Do

- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js / React, NestJS, TypeORM, and PostgreSQL

- Implement reliable, scalable APIs and data models

- Contribute to front-end components and user experience improvements

- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and infrastructure teams

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and design sessions

- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize for scalability and maintainability

- Document features, APIs, and workflows clearly and consistently

Required Skills

- 3–5 years of professional experience in full-stack development

- Strong proficiency in:

-
- Next.js / React (front-end components, hooks, and state management)

- NestJS (modular backend APIs with TypeScript)

- TypeORM (entities, migrations, query builder)

- PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization)

- Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD workflows, and software best practices

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you work well in collaborative, remote teams

Nice to Have

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Pulumi

- Familiarity with data engineering tools such as Airflow or AWS Glue

- Exposure to AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, Secrets Manager, etc.)

- Background in healthcare technology or regulated data environments (HIPAA/PHI)

What You’ll Bring

- A collaborative mindset and strong sense of ownership

- Pragmatic problem-solving — you balance speed with quality

- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies

- Clear communication and empathy for teammates and users alike

Contract Details

- Engagement: 1099 or corp-to-corp contract

- Term: 6 months, with possible extension

- Start Date: Immediate

- Compensation: Competitive hourly or project-based rate (DOE)
