-
Manage community interactions: respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a tone that reflects Saphly's values
-
Research and engage with relevant hashtags, trends, and conversations in the sapphic/LGBTQ+ literary community
-
Collaborate on promotional campaigns for author launches, new features, and platform milestones
-
Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and use data to continuously improve content strategy
-
Identify and coordinate with BookTok/BookTagram micro-influencers and indie authors for partnerships and cross-promotions
-
Contribute ideas for giveaways, reading challenges, and community-building campaigns

-
Strong content creation skills — comfortable making graphics (Canva or similar) and short-form video
-
Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms (Threads, BlueSky)
-
Excellent written communication — you can write copy that feels human, warm, and community-native
-
Understanding of social media analytics and KPIs (Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics)
-
Ability to work independently, manage a content calendar, and hit deadlines without hand-holding
Nice-to-have:
-
Personal interest in sapphic literature, romance, or the LGBTQ+ book community
-
Experience in the book/publishing space (BookTok, BookTagram, Goodreads communities)
-
Basic graphic design skills or experience with Adobe tools
