Short Form Video Editor - TikTok Shop I am seeking a detail oriented, efficient short form video editor with experience editing Tiktok Shop videos, an eye for detail for recreating existing TikTok shop videos. The ideal candidate understands the importance of visual, verbal, and on screen text hooks, content that grabs attention and stops the scroll, keeping the viewer watching through quick cuts, zoom ins, and a strong call to action at the end of the video. In the beginning this will likely be roughly 10 hours a week but for the right candidate this could be a long term relationship, with the opportunity for many many more additional hours. (See below) How it would work: I will provide you with long 3-5 min unedited video clips, and voice over files. I will then send you links of an example TikTok posts that have proven to go viral or earn sales. Your job will to be to take the provided clips and audio to recreate the example video that was sent by link. So you must have an eye for detail, the videos should be as close to the original as possible. Once I can see that you have grasped the editing style that is effective, that is when hours can increase to however much you would like to work, essentially you would just taking videos you have edited that have been proven successful and rearranging the clips in a different order to repurpose old content that is very similar without it being an identical recreation. Have a reel/portfolio of short form edits specifically of Tiktok shop style edits that you can provide direct links to. 2. Have and understanding for super quick pacing and retention (you know how to stop the scroll) 3. Can match an existing video rather than trying to create your own (I'll give you examples to recreate) including screenshotting and using photo overlays that are in the existing video. 4. Are reliable with starting on time, can communicate proactively about timelines.. 5. You feel comfortable asking for something when is not there (for example if the inspiration video has a a section where I have not provided you matching video or audio was not created, I want to be informed) Tools - Confident in Capcut or any other video editor (vertical landscape edits for TikTok) - Comfortable receiving large raw files via DropBox or Google Drive Requirements 1.
