We are looking for a talented short-form video editor and social media manager who can turn our raw jobsite footage into entertaining, educational and lead-generating content. This is not a general virtual-assistant position. Video editing, storytelling and social-media growth will be your primary responsibilities. What You Will Do Edit 25–30 short-form videos every month Create content for Instagram Reels, Facebook , TikTok and YouTube Shorts Turn raw jobsite footage into compelling stories Write strong hooks that capture attention within the first two seconds Add professional captions, music, sound effects and branded graphics Write natural-sounding American English captions and calls to action Schedule and publish content daily Create thumbnails and cover images Develop monthly content calendars Monitor comments, messages and engagement Direct potential customers to call or schedule service Review analytics and identify the best-performing content Create new versions of winning videos Turn customer reviews into social-media content Organize our raw footage and maintain a content library Provide our advertising manager with the strongest videos for paid ads Suggest new content ideas for our technicians to record Content You Will Create Examples include: “The homeowner thought they only needed routine pumping. Requirements Strong portfolio of short-form videos for Reels, TikTok or YouTube Shorts Excellent understanding of hooks, pacing, retention and storytelling Advanced proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software Excellent written English Ability to write captions that sound natural to an American audience Experience scheduling and managing content across multiple platforms Understanding of the difference between content that receives views and content that generates customers Reliable internet connection and computer Strong organization and communication Ability to meet deadlines without constant supervision Comfortable working with footage involving septic tanks, wastewater and dirty jobs Experience creating content for American home-service businesses—HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, construction, cleaning or similar companies—is strongly preferred.
