Short-Form Video Editor + Creative Assistant

I'm the founder of ICHOR Performance, a new premium performance brand being built around training, athletics, adventure, and high-performance lifestyle. We're preparing for launch, and I'm looking for one creative person to grow with the brand long-term. This is not a generic virtual assistant position. Your main responsibility will be taking raw footage from me, including founder videos, gym footage, training, business building, lifestyle clips, and product development, and turning it into polished short-form content for Instagram Reels and TikTok. WHAT YOU'LL DO Edit approximately 3 to 5 short-form videos per week. Turn raw talking-head footage into compelling 20 to 60 second stories. Identify strong hooks and moments without needing exact instructions. Color correct and grade footage. Clean and improve audio. Add captions, music, sound design, B-roll, and tasteful graphics. Create premium fitness and lifestyle edits. Help brainstorm content ideas and hooks. Study successful fitness, lifestyle, founder, and performance brands. Help develop a recognizable visual style for ICHOR. Organize completed content and raw footage. THE STYLE I'm not looking for overly edited videos filled with emojis, crazy transitions, constant zooms, or giant captions. The ICHOR aesthetic should feel premium, athletic, cinematic, modern, dark, energetic, and aspirational. The content should make a young startup feel like a much larger brand. WHO I'M LOOKING FOR You genuinely understand TikTok and Reels pacing. You have excellent visual taste. You understand fitness and lifestyle content. You can take messy raw footage and find the story inside it. You don't need every cut explained to you. You're willing to suggest better ideas when you see them. You're reliable and communicate well. You want a long-term role rather than random freelance projects. Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut Desktop is fine. Your portfolio matters much more to me than your resume. COMPENSATION $400 USD per month to start. Approximately 12 to 15 flexible hours per week. This is intended to become a long-term position. As ICHOR grows and you prove yourself, there will be opportunities for increased compensation, responsibility, and potentially a larger creative role within the brand.
