About the role:
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be at the heart of our digital transformation initiatives, developing and customizing solutions that
leverage the full potential of the ServiceNow platform. This role demands a blend of technical prowess in both front-end and back-end
development, deep understanding of ServiceNow’s ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management modules, and the ability to craft solutions that meet complex business needs.
Design, develop, and implement tailored solutions within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management modules.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Customize and enhance ServiceNow applications and workflows to optimize processes and user experiences.
• Develop both client-side and server-side scripts to enhance functionality and create seamless integrations.
• Ensure solutions are developed with high standards of security, data protection, and compliance.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
• Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
About you:
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management modules.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow development practices, including client and server-side scripting, application UI configuration, and custom application development.
• Proven experience working with workflows in one or more key areas of the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, PPM, CSDM, HRSD)
• Solid experience of JavaScript, Glide Script and AngularJS/HTML/CSS.
System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications in ITSM, ServOps, and Asset Management ServiceNow modules is highly regarded.
Education Requirements/Qualification:
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - optional
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - mandatory
• Any other ServiceNow Certification or Micro-Certification - optional
Languages:
Good English level is required (B2 or higher).
