SMHQ JOB DESCRIPTION: SEO AND AEO SPECIALIST =================================== ABOUT SMHQ =================================== SMHQ runs two connected UK property websites. SMHQ Network ( ---------- ) is a licence and franchise business aimed at property investors who want to find motivated sellers, with 58 people currently in the franchise network. ---------- is our main lead generation website, where we find motivated sellers directly, generating over 4,000 motivated seller leads in the last year. =================================== ROLE SUMMARY =================================== We're looking for an SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) specialist who can genuinely get our sites ranking highly, both in traditional search and in AI-driven answer engines. This isn't a supporting skill layered onto another role, ranking results are the core deliverable of this position. As with all our roles, we're looking for someone with a good attitude and a genuine growth mindset, who wants to learn and grow. We want people who will stay with us long term and become loyal, trusted team members. =================================== MUST-HAVE SKILLS =================================== - A proven track record of actually ranking sites, not just SEO theory - Strong on-page optimization - Keyword research - Technical SEO fundamentals - AEO / LLM-visibility optimization experience, since this is increasingly where search is heading =================================== NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS =================================== - WordPress familiarity - GoHighLevel (GHL) familiarity - Content writing ability =================================== APPLICATION EVIDENCE REQUIRED =================================== Because ranking results are the core deliverable of this role, applicants must provide evidence of past ranking success, e.g. screenshots of ranking improvements, before/after search visibility data, or case studies of sites they've worked on. =================================== HOURS AND PAY =================================== 20 to 40 hours per week. Pay negotiable based on experience. =================================== PROCESS =================================== 1.
